What we collect

• Searches: names you search for, used only to show results. We don't link searches to you.
• Forms: when you contact us, report a problem or suggest a book, we store what you send, including your name and email if you give them.
• Technical data: a one-way scrambled fingerprint of your connection to block spam. We don't store your raw IP address with your messages.

How we use it

To answer your messages, fix mistakes, add suggested books and keep the site safe. We never sell your personal information.

Affiliate links and third parties

When you click a store link (such as Amazon, Bookshop.org or Barnes & Noble), that store may set cookies to credit us for a purchase. Their own privacy policies apply. Book covers load from Open Library. See our affiliate disclosure.

Children

The site is meant for parents and gift-givers. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
